Show of hands who used to record the radio station?

Here’s a pretty sweet video of Brent and Zack from Shinedown with their 1st memory with artists on the radio. Personally, I don’t remember the song, but growing up in a VERY small New Mexican town, I used to listen to a station called 94 Key, They played anything popular at the time, and at that moment in life, it was all Poison, Bon Jovi, and Madonna. Don’t judge me! We didn’t have a rock station! Also, all the metal heads would head bang to Maiden and Metallica at the roller rink. BUT not till later on, I was hit by the radio bug. At this time, Wayne’s World just came out, and the biggest scene was the crew driving listening to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. Well, that song also had a major resurgence on the radio, and I vividly remember recording the song from a station in Tri Cities…OK 95. As the song ended, the night time DJ, Michael Dean…who I eventually worked with a few years later, said “Gone”. I can’t tell you HOW MANY F’N TIMES I heard that tape recording from the radio, and STILL to this day…every time Bohemian Rhapsody ends, I always say either out loud or to myself, “gone”….
